Full Time: Catholic Theology (Visiting) DeSales University’s Department of Theology and Philosophy invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Catholic Theology to begin August 2025. The faculty member will be expected to teach general theology courses as part of the DeSales University Connections Curriculum general education core and upper courses in the major; area of specialty is open. The annual teaching load is 24 credits, typically 4/4 load.
We seek someone who is rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, enjoys teaching undergraduates, and is respectful of the Catholic and Salesian mission of the university. A Ph.D. or D.Min. is required; A.B.D. considered. College teaching experience is preferred.
