The University of Dallas Constantin College invites applications for two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. Both positions include instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels; one position is contingent upon budgetary approval.
We are open to applicants with a variety of areas of specialization within the existential, phenomenological, depth, and hermeneutic traditions. Candidates should be conversant with humanistic, psychoanalytic, and other historical perspectives in psychology and be able to integrate their expertise within the broader mission of the department and the University. Familiarity with Christian anthropology is welcome.
Research expectations include an active record of scholarship comprising published scholarship, conference presentations, and projects in development for a continued program of scholarship. Service responsibilities include advising undergraduate students and service on University committees. The start date for both positions is the fall of 2025.
The teaching duties for both positions are three courses a semester, including graduate courses. One position involves coordinating clinical practicum placements for graduate students.
For both positions, the successful candidate will have an earned doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field qualifying the holder as a licensed or license-eligible mental health care professional.
Experience in clinical mental health counseling and clinical practice is strongly preferred.
