The ideal candidate will have
+ A Ph.D. in Economics, Data Science, or a closely related field. Industry expertise in Data Science highly valued.
+ Strong technical skills in data analysis, machine learning, programming, and econometric modeling.
+ Proven capacity for research and publication.
+ Excellent teaching skills, with experience in engaging and inspiring students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Economics (applied microeconomics preferred) and Data Science, including courses in econometrics, machine learning, data visualization, and statistical programming.
+ Engage in cutting-edge research.
+ Mentor students, promoting their enthusiasm and guiding their academic and professional development.
+ Collaborate with colleagues to support the University’s Catholic mission in an environment of academic excellence.
